  In 1969, the NVA fired a 107 rocket into Quan Loi, Vietnam. The picture at the left shows a hooch that was hit by the rocket that landed in the corner of the hooch. Gene Bernhardt (yellow shirt) was the lucky cook. He didn't get hurt. I hadn't seen Gene in 32 years.  It was great talking to him.
