GUADALUPE MENDOZA LEAL  - "A" Battery 1/21

GUADALUPE MENDOZA LEAL was born on August 21, 1947 and joined the Armed Forces while in QUITAQUE, TX. He served as a 13A10 in the Army.  In 1 year of service, he attained the rank of PFC/E3. He began a tour of duty on June 4, 1968. On August 1, 1968, at the age of 20, GUADALUPE MENDOZA LEAL perished in the service of our country in South Vietnam, Thua Thien. You can find GUADALUPE MENDOZA LEAL  honored on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial on  Panel 50W, Row 43.

PFC Guadalupe Mendoza Leal was an RTO in an FO party and was killed by mortar fire.

JOHN ADKINS    "A" Battery  1/21

JOHN ADKINS  was born on May 7, 1943 and  joined the Armed Forces while in BARTLETT,  OH.  He served as a 13A10 in the Army.  In 3 years of service, he attained the rank of CPL/E3. He began a tour of duty on November 28, 1967.  On April 7, 1968, at the age of 24, JOHN ADKINS perished in the service of our country in South Vietnam, Quang Tri.  You can find JOHN ADKINS honored on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial on Panel 48E, Row 38.

Cpl. John Adkins was killed by sniper fire while engaged in Operation Pegasus. John was assigned to an FO party.  He was was assigned to 2/7.

DONALD J. CRAMER   "HQ Commo Section"  1/21

DONALD JAMES CRAMER JR was born on September 23, 1947 and joined the Armed Forces while in DETROIT, MI.  He served as a 05B20 in the Army, Battalion
1ST, Regiment 21ST ARTY.  In 1 year of service, he attained the rank of SP4/E4. He
began a tour of duty on November 3, 1967. On October 3, 1968, at the age of 21, DONALD  JAMES CRAMER JR perished in the service of our country in South Vietnam, Thua Thien. You can find DONALD JAMES CRAMER JR  honored on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial on Panel 42W, Row 67.

SP4 Donald J. Cramer ( U S Army ), Detroit, MI and 23 other Army and Air Force men died in Camp Evans, Vietnam in an airplane/helicopter crash. Don was in the
1st / 21st Arty, Commo Section.
